How it works

1 · The setup

Drive directly enough to make the help defender choose a side before the gather begins.

2 · The execution

Plant the first step toward one lane, carry the ball safely across the body and use the second step to finish through the opening.

3 · The counter

If the defender stays centered, shorten the second step into a floater, stop for a pivot or pass behind the rotating help.
